Google’s Gemini Spark AI agent has been made available in Pakistan for Google AI Ultra subscribers as part of its rollout across the Asia-Pacific region, the company said.
The tool is designed to automate routine digital tasks and operate in the background even when a user’s laptop is closed or their mobile device is locked.
Powered by Google’s cloud infrastructure, Gemini Spark connects natively with Google Workspace tools, including Gmail, Docs and Sheets, without requiring additional setup.
Google said the AI agent can help users manage repetitive digital work, including customer inquiries, vendor invoices, schedules, travel details and documents.
The company said Gemini Spark shifts AI from a reactive assistant towards an active partner that can complete tasks autonomously under user direction.
The tool is driven by Gemini 3.6 Flash and is currently available to Google AI Ultra subscribers in Asia-Pacific, including Pakistan. It will expand to Google AI Pro subscribers over the coming weeks.
Google said users remain in control of the tool at all times, including Pakistan. Users can choose whether to enable Spark and decide which applications it can access.
The system is also designed to request permission before carrying out high-stakes actions, such as making purchases or sending emails.
Gemini Spark can assist with travel planning by extracting details from flight and hotel confirmation emails and adding them to a Google Sheet. It can also identify local events during a trip and add them to open slots on a user’s calendar.
The tool can also scan for relevant local events each week, compile key details and links into a Google Doc and add high-priority recommendations to a user’s calendar.
For court bookings, Spark can monitor booking applications on a schedule and check weather forecasts to alert users only when conditions are clear.
For event coordination, the tool can locate RSVPs in Gmail, compile dietary restrictions into a structured table and draft summary emails to vendors.
In expense management, Spark can audit digital invoices, notify users about subscription price increases or expiring trial periods and prepare cancellation emails for review.
The AI agent can also scan inboxes for customer inquiries and draft responses with relevant service and pricing recommendations for user approval.
Google said Spark can analyse past outgoing emails to create a customised writing style guide and apply those preferences when drafting future correspondence.
