Barely two days after Spider-Man: Brand New Day hit threatens, one of biggest stars from the film Jacob Batalon has decided to sit down and touch on what actually landed him the role.
The entire conversation happened during an appearance on the The Zack Sang Show.
A clip of the bigger chat was shared by the host already and sees Jacob admit, “It was really I think they really just hired me for the vibes. I think they just really enjoyed me and Tom together.”
As for what he thinks was the ‘deciding factor’ so to say, Jacob admitted, “I’ve never really had the courage to ask that question before but I think a lot of what my first initial feedback was that they just really enjoyed our chemistry and how we just kind of got along from our first screen test.”
“Again, you know, I think Amy and and Kevin, I think everyone was just so supportive of me and I think they just really wanted to see me succeed, that I think they were just willing to help guide me through the whole process.”
Another thing he did make sure to highlight is, “it’s afforded me a lot of privileges in terms of working on a set. I think I was so spoiled from that movie that I just assumed every job was like that and it’s not. I think it takes a lot more work on other things and I think that’s sort of again like the beauty of filmmaking that you watch people create things from nothing and you can kind of see what people are capable of doing with a lot of money. So I I think yeah it was it was just a lot of learning and making a lot of mistakes and everyone just kind of being okay with that.”
Right after that he was with the big question, which is about his screentest and what he remembers most vividly.
