Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance for the first-ever screening of the documentary Cookie Queens movie in Los Angeles.
The movie, which had been executive produced through Archewell Productions, is directed by Alysa Nahmias. The two women sat together for a Q&A panel to reflect on the movie and shared some wise words that have helped them through life’s challenges.
During the discussion, Meghan shared advice from her husband Prince Harry, who has served a British Army helicopter pilot for nearly a decade.
“He was a helicopter pilot in the British Army for 10 years, and sometimes on really hard days, or once he said, ‘But my love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening, above the storm, the sun’s always shining’,” Meghan told the attendees.
“And that’s a perspective that only comes really when you think about zooming out a little bit,” she continued. “So, I think when you really zoom out and think, my gosh, how many things have we gone through that felt hard and then you still get through them?”
She pointed out that one realises much later how much they have achieved which they never thought they could.
The inspiring words come as Harry is set to face a massive legal bill from the phone hacking case, which he lost earlier this month.
Even though, the couple have faced a slew of setback, they are making progress with the reconciliation with the royals following the meeting with King Charles. Moreover, Meghan’s latest Emmy nomination and MasterChef appearance has been a boost to her image.
