One Direction disbanded 2016 but their songwriters recently revealed fresh information that nobody knew at the time, and left fans shocked.
The songwriters disclosed that the boyband’s song, Fool’s Gold, was also claimed by Adele but it had already been given to the One Thing hitmakers at the time.
The news came as a total surprise for the fans who love and cherish the song, and they flocked to social media in reaction.

One X user wrote, “imagine the timeline where she got it and we never had to hear them struggle through those high notes live. a tragedy honestly,” and “love adele but fools gold is so good by one direction,” added another.
