King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment since his diagnosis in 2024, had reportedly been doing well but odd details appeared to have sparked fresh concerns.
The monarch has understandably been under a lot of stress with the slew of setbacks he has had to encounter in his fairly new reign.
Charles just concluded his high-stakes Caribbean tour and he “strived to look his best” like all his engagements during this crucial time.

Although, royal expert Tom Sykes pointed out that the monarch had been looking much frailer in-person, which took him by surprise. He stressed that he is “not sensationalising” the matter but it did seem that the cancer and the stress has taken a toll on Charles.
Before the speculation surrounding his health began, the King’s aides stepped in to ease any oncoming scrutiny into the King’s health.
According to sources cited by Woman’s Day, Charles’s team was “briefed in the customary manner, or at least that’s the unofficial word from his aides” to avoid using extra makeup.
This was to shut up the “mischief-makers and alarmists” who would raise issue with excess use of makeup.
Although, the insiders noted that “the harsh reality here is that the King did appear to cut a more vulnerable figure during this tour”.
Tom has insisted that Charles looked “small” and had “lost great deal of weight”. He noted that the King was “absolutely covered in makeup” even though it looked fine on camera.
The source went on to suggest it was a situation that hadn’t gone unnoticed by royal watchers or much of the crowd.
