Colin Jost has credited his wife, Scarlett Johansson, with shaping his personal style, saying her influence is “exclusively managed by her.”
The Saturday Night Live Weekend Update co-host spoke to ELLE while promoting his role in Kay’s holiday advert, “Love All In,” a comedic story about an escalating search for the perfect gift.
The campaign encourages shoppers to go “all in” when showing love.

Asked whether Johansson influences how he dresses, Jost said: “In that it’s exclusively managed by her, yes, I would say she’s influenced it.”
He revealed that he did not own a watch until around five years ago, when Johansson gave him his first one. He said he prefers understated jewellery, especially simple gold pieces.
The comedian also shared his thoughts on gift-giving. “At every kind of price point for any gift, there [are] thoughtful and unthoughtful versions,” he said.
He admitted that one of his own presents to his SNL colleague Michael Che was a large velociraptor statue, which Che cannot easily get rid of.
Jost said shipping was the main cost.
His father, he explained, is the hardest person to buy for.
“I think he actually means it, but it’s so unhelpful,” he said. When it comes to adults, he believes wish lists are best avoided. “For adults, it’s got to be ‘surprise me,’” he said.
As for what he wants himself, he said: “At this point in life, I mostly want experiences.”
