Adrien Brody recently reflected on making his Broadway debut.

The 52-year-old American actor is set to make his debut on a Broadway show The Fear of 13 alongside Tessa Thompson, which chronicles the real-life journey of Nick Yarris, a man who spent over twenty years on death row ahead of being exonerated by DNA evidence.

Brody will portray Yarris, while Thompson will play Jackie, a volunteer who pays a visit to the prisoner behind bars.

In 1982, Yarris was sent to jail on rape and murder charges he did not commit. However, after spending 22-years behind bars, NDA declared his innocence and was finally set free from jail in 2004.

While conversing with PEOPLE magazine, Brody revealed that he always dreamt of showcasing his acting skills in a New York City theater.

He said, “I started doing theater as a teen before I really got any film work, … so it’s been a long journey. It’s another dream [come true] to make it to Broadway.”

“I just love the intimacy of theater, so all of it’s very, very exciting,” the King Kong star stated, who stars in a Super Bowl LX commercial for TurboTax.

On the professional front, Brody has worked in movies, including The Pianist, Detachment, Predators, Splice, The Village, Jacket, and others.  

The latest release of millions of new files related to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein came as a relief to Eminem fans after learning that the documents had no mention of Marshall Mathers.

The files were released by the US Justice Department on Friday.  The documents included mentions of many prominent figures in politics, business and entertainment, including rapper Jay-Z.

During recent online protests against ICE crackdown in Minneapolis that killed two people, Eminem was accused of being in the files by Donald Trump supporters the rapper’s fans had shared old videos of Slim Shady attacking the Republican.

Commenting on those videos, Trump supporters said Eminem should be the last person to target the president because he was on Jeffrey Epstein’s files.

The claims that Eminem’s name appeared in Jeffrey Epstein files  released by the US Justice Department are incorrect. 

Some claims reference a “Marshall” in documents, but it’s not Marshall Mathers, the real name of the “Lose Yourself” rapper. 

Epstein was found hanged in his jail cell in 2019. While his death was ruled a suicide, it has engendered years of conspiracy theories, some of which Trump himself amplified to his own supporters during his 2024 campaign.

Kristian Bush recently got candid and opened up about his career with Sugarland.

At the Your Roots Are Showing conference in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the 55-year-old American singer-songwriter and record producer talked about the fans of Sugarland.

Bush told PEOPLE magazine, “I watched people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s while we’re playing the music to them. I can tell that they are at the age they are right now, but their body completely changes to when they first heard our music.”

“So, they move differently, they sing differently, their eyes sparkle at a different age. To see that, I realized, ‘Oh, this mattered,'” he added.

These reactions strengthen the Something More hitmaker’s belief in the enduring power of music that he and Jennifer Nettles made together.

Referring to the timeless quality that Sugarland’s music possesses, Bush explained, “We didn’t really use instruments that were time-specific. The music itself wasn’t referencing things of time. And I didn’t realize that was that important until now … that, ‘Wow, that stuff will outlast you.’”

“If you keep reducing the sauce down until it’s just its ingredients, which is rhythm, melody and maybe a guitar, it’s unbelievably repeatable whenever it happens,” the Everybody Gotta Go Home hitmaker stated. 

Shortly after reports emerged that rapper Jay-Z was mentioned in the Justice Department files related to Jeffrey Epstein, claims were made that the rapper not only lost over 100,000 followers on Instagram but some big celebrities also unfollowed him.

A look at his account shows that Jay-Z currently has one million followers, with his wife Beyoncé, Lindsay Lohan, Diddy, Ivanka Trump, and Kris Jenner still following him.

Speculation were also made that Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Apple Music and NFL accounts also unfollowed him.

While it’s unclear if these accounts unfollowed him due to his mention in the Epstein files, or if they were following him to begin with, it’s become clear they are not in the list of people who’re currently follow him.

According to a document, a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein in Jeffrey Epstein’s Florida mansion  while Jay-Z allegedly looked on, according to a chilling document released by the US Department of Justice.

The alleged incident happened in 1996, when the victim, whose name was redacted, said she was “abducted” from her home by a stranger, according to an FBI intake form dated July 2019.

She “later awoke in the presence of Harvey Weinstein and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) while Weinstein had inserted his fingers into [redacted],” according to the unsubstantiated allegations.
