TUCSON, Ariz. — Videos of what authorities are calling a “subject” in the Nancy Guthrie investigation have been released by the FBI.

FBI Director Kash Patel took to X to post the video, which shows a masked person near the entrance of the Guthrie home. The man walks towards a doorbell camera, and appears to cover it with his fist before turning around and walking away from the front stoop. The person is wearing long sleeves, pants, gloves and a backpack.

“Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices,” Patel said.

“The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems. Working with our partners – as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”

Minutes after the photos were posted, NBC  law enforcement and national intelligence reporter Tom Winter reported that the Guthrie family does not recognize the person in the image. He also said the individual has an apparent gun in his or her waistband.

NBC’s “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie, Nancy’s mother, also shared the images on her Instagram account.

“We believe she is still alive,” she said. “Bring her home.”

About a half hour after the first video was released, the FBI posted a second video to its X account.

That video, three seconds long, shows the same person walking towards the door, but turning their face leftward away from the camera.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department echoed Patel’s message in an X post of their own.

Guthrie, 84, is the daughter of NBC’s “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie. She has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1.

So far, no suspects have been named in the case.

Queen Camilla marks engagement anniversary during London Church visit

Queen Camilla stepped into St Bride’s Church in the City of London on Tuesday to mark a major milestone.

The Queen attended a Service of Celebration commemorating 650 years since the Guild of St Bride received its Royal Confirmation.

During the visit, the Queen spent time greeting guests, including Mark Bolland, who served as a senior aide to King Charles during his years as Prince of Wales in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Adding a personal footnote to the day, the appearance coincided with a quiet anniversary for the royal couple, 21 years since King Charles and Queen Camilla announced their engagement.

She shared a light-hearted moment while chatting about American politics and speaking with students whose studies have been supported through the guild’s bursary programme.

Down in the church crypt, she met Rozina Sabur, now a national security editor, who explained that she had spent eight years covering US politics from Washington before moving into her current role.

The Queen remarked that the job sounded “very interesting,” sparking laughter.

When Ms Sabur replied that it was “never boring,” she echoed the phrase with a smile.

Kaley Cuoco defends decision to stop sharing a bed with fiancé Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco has no regrets about her and her fiancé Tom Pelphrey’s decision to stop sharing a bed, given their very different sleep schedules.

The 40-year-old actor spoke about the non-conventional sleeping arrangements during Monday’s episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

Cuoco said they made the change because their rescue dogs sleep in their bedroom, and Pelphrey couldn’t handle the barking while they were trying to sleep.

“He was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore.’ And I’m like, ‘I understand,’” she explained. “So he started sleeping in the guest room. Which, by the way, game changer.”

She said separate beds work for her because Task star Pelphrey is a “night owl,” who “goes to bed very late,” and she is not.

“He writes at night. He reads, it’s his quiet time,” she said. “So he’s up late and wakes up late on a non-working day. We established this from day one. I go to bed early, and I wake up early. We’re totally on different sleeping schedules.”

The Big Bang Theory alum said that before changing the sleeping arrangements, she’d be “tiptoeing” around her bedroom with her and Pelphrey’s two-year-old daughter, Matilda, to avoid waking him up.

“He’s like, ‘I can’t sleep.’ He wakes up. He can’t go back to sleep,” she recalled. “So he’s like, ‘How do you feel if I sleep in that other room?’ We do couples therapy, and we love it.”

However, Cuoco said that when Pelphrey first brought up the idea of sleeping apart, she was concerned.

“At first, I’m like, ‘What will people think?’ And he’s like, ‘I never see you at night.’ I don’t see him. It’s not our sexy time. We don’t cuddle. We don’t see each other at night,” she added. “He goes, ‘Why do you care?’ And I sat there, and I went, ‘God, I don’t care.’ And he goes, ‘Let’s try it.’”

She explained that “nothing happens but sleep” in the guest room bed, so the arrangement works great for her and her partner, and they’re “such happier people” because of it.

“I’m up with Matilda at 7 a.m. She comes into bed with me. I can turn things on,” Cuoco added. “Best decision we ever made.”

Cuoco and Pelphrey started dating in 2022, making their relationship Instagram official in May of that year. They welcomed their daughter, Matilda, in 2023, and got engaged a year later.

Sleeping in separate bedrooms, or “sleep divorce” — as it’s now known — has become an increasingly popular trend.

A study for Hilton’s 2025 Trends report found that 63 percent of people say they sleep better when they have the bed to themselves. Meanwhile, the hospitality group noted that 37 percent of travelers prefer sleeping in separate beds while on vacation — particularly when traveling with children.

A 2023 American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) online survey also found that more than one-third of Americans practice “sleep divorce.”

Melissa McCarthy reveals her tried and tested ‘corpse’ night time routine that’s lost her 95lbs

Melissa McCarthy the legendary Gilmore Girls star has a different bedtime routine, one that she dubs her ‘corpse look’.

The star’s weight loss has even gotten her lots of attention, not just for the way she has been looking but also the wellness journey that got her there.

Her delivery about it all has been shared her the star herself, but comes from a 2023 interview that happened with People magazine.

In it, she explained that there are “two versions” of her at any given day but one thing she does that her makeup artist frowns over at least.

While explaining it she says, “if I’m taking off my [make-up], I do all my good stuff and the hot towel and the whole thing.” But “if I come [with a full face of make-up], this is how I go to bed,” she explains. At that time “I go to bed like a corpse. I lie back, and I wake up the next morning, and I’m like, ‘Good for me, I can sleep and not move.”

But her makeup artist ended up saying things like, “’Oh, that’s not good. You should wash it all off.’” But Malissa says “I’m like, ‘Look at what you did today. I can’t do this.’ So I sleep like an absolute corpse, and I wake up, and I go and look in the mirror, and it’s like, ‘That’s a full lash, girl.’ It’s a full lash on a Tuesday.”

Pakistan’s top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan and pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi reached major milestones during the ongoing T20 World Cup clash against the United States (USA), with Farhan completing 1,000 T20I runs and Shaheen making his 100th T20I appearance.

The top-order batter entered the fixture with 969 runs to his name in 40 innings, brought up his thousandth run in the shortest international format when he smashed Milind Kumar for a massive six on the final delivery of the fifth over.

The right-handed opener, as a result, became only the 10th Pakistani batter to score 1000 runs in men’s T20Is, joining the likes of Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi.

Apart from this, Shaheen, who made his T20I debut in 2018 against West Indies, became just the seventh Pakistani to feature in at least a hundred T20Is, joining the likes of Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik.

Babar has the most T20I appearances for Pakistan, featuring in 141 matches, 18 more than second-placed Malik.

Ahead of the aforementioned fixture, Shaheen was warmly congratulated by his teammates.

In a picture, fast bowler Naseem Shah was seen presenting him with the commemorative cap ahead of his landmark appearance for the country in the shortest format.

“Shaheen Shah Afridi receives cap from fellow pacer Naseem Shah on completing [100] T20I appearances,” PCB captioned the picture.

In his 99 completed T20Is, Shaheen has picked up 129 wickets at a remarkable average of 21.34 with the help of two four-wicket hauls.

The 25-year-old also has 307 runs to his name in the shortest format, which came at a modest average of 13.95.

Social media erupted in praise for Pakistan following their commanding 32-run win over the United States of America (USA) in the 12th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Tuesday.

The Green Shirts set a 191-run target for the USA on the back of a fiery half-century from Sahibzada Farhan, followed by quick knocks from Babar Azam and Shadab Khan.

Defending 191, Pakistan restricted the USA to 158-8 in their 20 overs, with spinner Usman Tariq leading the bowling attack with three wickets.

Fans heaped praise on the national side for the thumping victory in the game, with some recalling the heartbreak faced in the T20 World Cup 2024.

LAHORE:

United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador Hammad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi has announced that Pakistan and the UAE are at the final stage of signing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which will significantly boost bilateral trade and remove business obstacles.

He said the current trade volume of around $8-10 billion did not reflect the true strength of relations and expressed his government’s resolve to double the figure as soon as possible.

Speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), the ambassador said the UAE was rapidly shifting towards an AI-driven and digitised economy where nearly 99% of government services were available online. Referring to the visa process, he underscored that both countries were working to streamline procedures through digital systems.

He said discussions were underway with the Punjab Skilled Labour Authority to enhance cooperation in skilled workforce mobility. The envoy emphasised that he was personally working at operational and technical levels to ensure that all signed agreements were fully implemented. The ambassador mentioned that the UAE was expanding investments in Pakistan in key sectors including infrastructure, ports, aviation, agriculture, minerals and railways.

Dow extends record, S&P 500 rises as software shares bounce: Live updates

A trader works as the Dow Jones Industrial Average surpasses the 50,000 mark on the floor at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in New York City, U.S., Feb. 6, 2026.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average continued its winning streak on Tuesday as investors moved into software stocks and more value-oriented areas of the market.

The 30-stock Dow rose 227 points, or 0.5%, receiving a boost from entertainment name Disney and financial stock American Express. The index had scored its third consecutive intraday record earlier in the day, a move that comes after it surpassed the 50,000 level for the first time ever last week. The S&P 500 traded up 0.2%, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.1%.

The broader market was supported by gains in software — a group that led the market sell-off last week as concerns grew among investors that artificial intelligence could disrupt the industry. Stabilization in the sector in the wake of the recent pressure could ease fears the bull market is breaking down.

In the space, Datadog bounced 15%, while ServiceNow moved higher by 3%. Unity shares jumped 4% after Oppenheimer upgraded the stock to outperform from perform, citing accelerating revenue growth and margin expansion this year

Microsoft advanced more than 1%, aiding the Dow’s outperformance, and the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV) — which entered a bear market at the end of last month — added around 2%.

“Investors seem to be willing to kind of step in and buy some of these dislocations over the last couple of weeks,” said Anthony Saglimbene, Ameriprise Financial’s chief market strategist. At the same time, there also appears to be a rotation into parts of the market that “may be more insulated from that AI trade right now” like energy, materials and industrials, he added. Those sectors are already up 19%, 15% and 12% this year, respectively.

“This broadening rally that’s been taking place over the last month, that hasn’t gone away,” the strategist said.

Under pressure Tuesday were shares of retailers Costco and Walmart, which fell more than 1% each. On Tuesday, the latest retail sales report showed that consumer spending in December was flat, missing the 0.4% monthly gain that economists polled by Dow Jones were expecting. The figure comes after a 0.6% increase recorded in November.

Investors are awaiting the big jobs report on Wednesday, and the consumer price index on Friday.

“The other component of a stretched lower- and middle-income consumer right now is how they feel about the job environment, and we know that they’re a little bit more uncertain,” Saglimbene told CNBC. “If we do see weaker-than-expected job growth in January, that could kind of strain this broadening theme a little bit.”

Wall Street is coming off a second straight day of gains as tech stocks rallied, building on their Friday comeback. The Dow in particular notched fresh highs on an intraday and closing basis. Investors are hopeful the market can sustain its upward advance after last week’s sell-off failed to meaningfully hurt the market on a technical basis.

Indeed, the S&P 500 has managed to recover support above its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, after dipping below them last week, and many asset classes are outperforming the index — bullish signals as far as traders are concerned.
