From LA red carpets to desi festive wear, orange is everywhere right now

Orange Is The Hottest Colour Right Now! Just Ask Kylie Jenner And Bollywood’s New It Girls
Orange is having a serious fashion moment, and it is anything but subtle. From global pop royalty to Bollywood’s most-watched style stars, the colour has gone from risky to irresistible. Credit where it’s due: Kylie Jenner, Triptii Dimri and Ananya Panday are each making a strong case for why orange deserves to be on your mind and in your closet right now!
Whether it’s Kylie Jenner’s sultry figure-clinging dresses or Indian wear reimagined in rust, tangerine and marigold tones, orange has officially stepped into the spotlight. Taylor Swift too, has understood how colour tells a story. With her album The Life of a Showgirl, she introduced Portofino Orange, a warm, citrusy shade named after the Italian coastal town, and made it the visual signature of the era in 2025.
Kylie Jenner And Timothée Chalamet’s Coordinated Orange Moment
Orange made a high-impact appearance on the Hollywood red carpet when Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet stepped out together at the Los Angeles premiere of Chalamet’s new film Marty Supreme.
The couple turned heads in matching Custom Hearts looks, according to Vogue. Jenner wore an orange, floor-length gown with sharp triangular cutouts, while Chalamet complemented her outfit in a similarly toned leather suit.
Ananya Panday’s Saree Takes On Orange
Back home, Ananya Panday is proving orange works just as beautifully in Indian wear. She was recently seen in a Masaba rust Windrose crushed saree, priced at ₹35,000. The saree focuses on texture rather than heavy embellishment, with foil-printed pleats, a crushed pallu and appliqué detailing.
She paired it with a golden gota blouse that added warmth and contrast, along with stacked bangles and statement earrings featuring blue and gold accents.
In another standout look, Ananya wore a tangerine Banarasi brocade saree by Manish Malhotra in collaboration with Swadesh, woven with parrot motifs and finished with a zari border. Styled by Ami Patel, the blouse featured playful multiple back tie-ups finished with tiny Christmas ornaments.
Triptii Dimri’s Effortless Festive Orange
Triptii Dimri took a different route with orange, choosing a vibrant anarkali by Drishti & Zahabia. The mix-print ensemble featured embroidery focused around the torso, paired with printed pants and a light organza dupatta. She paired it with statement gold earrings and bangles, while her soft waves and understated makeup kept the focus firmly on the colour and craftsmanship.
