Mel Schilling’s final empowering message to women has been shared by Married at First Sight following her death aged 54.
The relationship coach, who had been diagnosed with cancer, died on Tuesday, 24 March, according to a family statement shared on her Instagram account.
Schilling said earlier in March that her cancer had spread, including to the left side of her brain, and that there was “nothing further” doctors could do to treat it.
In a video shared by MAFS following her death, she said: “As a woman, I think it’s important that we support each other, that we empower each other, that we don’t compete with each other. That we give other women an opportunity to shine.”
