Khloe Kardashian just confessed she almost named her son Tiger.
The Kardashians star, welcomed a baby boy named Tatum, her second child, whom she shares with ex-partner Tristan Thompson, via surrogacy in 2022.
Khloe has now revealed she struggled to come up with a name for him after his birth and she was seriously considering a one of “wild” nature .
During an Ask Me Anything video posted on YouTube, she explained: “Tatum, I don’t think I landed on a name for like nine months. After he was born, which was crazy, we called him Baby at first.”
“And then we would just like call him Rob, sometimes. I wanted a T name, something still unique but not too unique, not crazy. But I think the wildest name for him I liked was Tiger,” she recalled.
Khloe is also mother to daughter True, who was born in 2018, and she insisted there were no alternatives for her little girl’s name – and she certainly wasn’t going to agree to Tristan’s Game of Thrones-inspired suggestion of Khaleesi.
Khloe said: “And then for True, there was no real options. I just knew it was True. I loved the name True. But Tristan wanted to name her Khaleesi.”
“This was in the big Game Of Thrones era and I just knew we weren’t naming her after Khaleesi, but I think that is the only other name I can think of but it wasn’t going to happen. Khaleesi. Crazy,” the TV star admitted.
Khloe then got candid about how True is actually an old family name which came from her mom Kris Jenner’s dad, who died when she was young.
She explained: “His name was Robert True. And then his dad was True something. And so, my grandma when we were at dinner and I was like: ‘What are we going to name this baby?’ I really wanted a T name. I wanted their initials to be TT and she’s like: ‘Why not True?’”
“That’s your grandfather’s name’. Anyways that’s where that name came from,” Khloe Kardashian concluded.
