Karisma Kapoor Picks A Layered Butter Yellow Saree For Special Meeting With Queen Rania Of Jordan
Karisma Kapoor lets her effortless charm and evolving fashion sense speak volumes. The Bollywood style icon once again proves why she remains a perennial fashion muse for many.
She recently attended the Roundtable Conversation with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, held at NMACC to celebrate Women Leadership in India, hosted by Isha Ambani.
For her latest event appearance, she chose a butter-yellow saree but gave the classic six-yard drape a modern twist. Here’s a closer look at her stunning ensemble.
Decoding Karishma Kapoor’s Butter-Yellow Anavila Look
Karishma turned heads in a butter-yellow saree from Anavila. She paired the gota kinari drape with a long embroidered jacket. The delicate, shimmery border added a touch of traditional elegance, while the embroidered overlay brought
the contemporary touch without overpowering it.
The thigh-length, trench coat-style silk jacket features delicate floral embroidery along the cuffs and lower panels. Designed with a notch lapel collar, open front, full-length sleeves, and a relaxed fit, the jacket brought a tailored edge to the look, while a matching blouse tied the ensemble together.
The added layer enhanced the proportions, creating a longer and more structured silhouette over the traditional drape.
Hair, Makeup and Accessories
Karisma Kapoor accessorised the ensemble with delicate diamond earrings from Amrapali Jewels and a luxe gold watch. At the same time, a charcoal Hermès bag added a striking contrast to the soft yellow palette.
Keeping the styling minimal, she wore her hair sleek and straight, complemented by soft-glam makeup featuring kohl-lined, subtly smoked eyes, sculpted cheeks, and a nude lip.
Karisma shared the pictures from the roundtable event on Instagram on February 16.
Karisma Kapoor is widely loved for her understated, elegant sartorial choices. She once again proved that simplicity can be just as impactful as grandeur. Focusing on fine textiles and clean silhouettes, her yellow saree reflected
a timeless charm while celebrating Indian craftsmanship.
The look perfectly matched the grace of the occasion as she met Queen Rania of Jordan.
