A vibrant rainbow appeared over parts of Karachi on Thursday evening following heavy rainfall, offering a rare and striking view after a day marked by severe weather.
The phenomenon was witnessed in several area, with this photo captured from Saadi Town area showing a full arc stretching across the skyline as clouds began to clear.

The rainbow emerged shortly after intense downpours lashed the metropolis, which had earlier caused disruptions, including waterlogging and traffic congestion in multiple areas.
Meteorologists say such rainbows form when sunlight breaks through moisture-laden clouds, refracting light droplets in the atmosphere, often appearing after heavy rain showers subside.
Residents took to social media to share images and videos of the mesmerising view, describing it as a moment of calm after the storm and a welcome sight amid the city’s rain-related challenges.
