Ananya Panday is not just a fashionista but an actor in touch with her Gen Z roots and style game. The actor has always made a stylish statement whenever she has been spotted out and about, and her Instagram is proof of the pudding. Whether she is all glammed up for her bridesmaid duties in a wedding, slaying on the red carpet or even just enjoying a relaxing night at home, Ananya doesn’t fail to look chic.

The 27-year-old actor was recently in London and shared a series of throwback photos from her time in the British capital. She put together two back-to-back fashion-forward looks that must be written about.

The actor, known for projects like Liger, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Gehraiyaan, Call Me Bae, and more, wore a bubble-hem, electric-blue dress for an event. The body-hugging dress brought back the iconic cap sleeves and featured a long trail from her side. She wore her hair in a slicked-back bun, while her makeup was dewy. Nude lipstick, pink blushing cheeks and baby pink shimmery eyeshadow completed the look. However, one can’t miss the blinding jewellery Ananya was decked in; she wore diamond drop earrings and a delicate silver cuff on her wrist.

For her second look, the actor wore a sheer black gown with a geometric design. The dress is by Elie Saab, and it costs around $151,525 (approximately Rs13,446,373) and features a dazzling design of black and green glittery squares. While usually paired with a Scandinavian scarf, Ananya chose to lose the matching item.

Ananya, in a candid conversation with actors Kajol and Twinkle Khanna on their talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, made a strong defence of Gen Z. She was vocal about the criticism her generation often faces from older audiences and said, “People call us lazy or distracted, but I think we’re just learning to do things differently. We’re adapting to a new kind of world, where balance, mental health, and self-expression matter as much as success.”

She went on to add, “We talk about feelings openly, we stand up for causes, and we’re not afraid to question what doesn’t feel right. That’s not weakness — that’s awareness.”
