Amanda Seyfried is proving she and Thomas Sadoski remain dear friends despite their breakup.
On Tuesday, September 15, the Emmy-winning actress and the The Newsroom actor announced that they split after nine years of marriage.
“We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve got each other forever—and it’s GOOD,” they said in a joint statement to People magazine.
Indeed, there appears to be no love lost between the pair as just hours before the announcement, the Mean Girls star shared a sweet photo of Sadoski on her Instagram Stories.
The picture appeared to be taken in their home with Sadoski sitting on the dining table with Seyfried’s pet bearded dragon, Romeo, perched on his shoulder.
Adding text over the picture, she called Sadoski a reptile dad.
Apart from being parents to their many pets, the former couple also share 9-year-old daughter, Rina, and 5-year-old son, Thomas.
Seyfried, age, and Sadoski, age, first met in 2015 while appearing together in the Off-Broadway play The Way We Get By. They became engaged in September 2016 and later eloped.
