Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been firmly ousted from the royal family by King Charles following the Epstein scandal, has a long-held reputation was being “arrogant”.
It was understood that the main reason why the former Duke of York held a haughty attitude was because he was Elizabeth II’s favourite son and got away with most of the things.
Experts and critics have predicted that the reason why Andrew was able to evade any serious trouble in the past, despite the magnitude of his blunders, was because the late Queen would cover for him allegedly.
Although, according to Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary to the-late Queen Elizabeth II, shared that was not the case. He claimed during the Royal Exclusive podcast, that Andrew was “was never the favourite”.
In fact, he was known for being “bombastic” and putting himself first “to the detriment of everybody else”.
“Andrew was always up front, he was always the noisy one and he was always the noisy one as an adult until he was put back in his box,” the royal biographer added.
Dickie noted that it was actually Prince Edward, who was the favourite one, which is a claim also made by royal biographer Matthew Dennison in his book, The Queen.
The new claims come amid an ongoing investigation that the police is undertaking over allegations exposed via Epstein files over misconduct in public office and sex offence against minors.
