Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shut down the rising speculations surrounding their marriage as they made a surprise joint appearance in Oxfordshire.
It was understood that the couple had returned to London, at their St James’s Palace grace-and-favour home, as children begin school.
However, it appears that family is still in Cotswold as they made a low-key appearance at the Cornbury House Horse Trials. The venue is around 30 minutes from Cotswold and nearly one-and-half hours away from London.
Moreover, Zara Tindall and Duchess Sophie were also present at the event, but the two were not photographed with Beatrice and Edo.
The appearance comes at the heels of the property developer starting up a new project for his company at Westminster. Edo teased that there was something “coming soon” for Banda as he dropped a glimpse of a lavish home “where tradition, heritage and contemporary living meet”.
There is still controversy surrounding their royal grace-and-favour home as King Charles has reportedly been paying the rent for it. The couple splits their time in Cotswold and London and this is the time when they usually move to the royal property.
Critics have raised concerns on how the King funding the properties of non-working royals is not a good look for the monarchy and the taxpaying Britons would not appreciate it either.
It remains to be seen if an action is taken, in the meantime, Beatrice and Edo seem unfazed.
