Dua Lipa is sharing an insider look on everything that made her wedding to Callum Turner “magical.”
In a new interview, the 31-year-old singer revealed that she received two pieces of wedding-day advice that stood out to her.
“To live that day as if we were guests too (and therefore with less anxiety and more fun, etc.) and to constantly look for each other among the people, without ever losing sight of each other,” she told Vogue Italia.
Lipa also spoke about how her relationship has influenced her songwriting, explaining that it has inspired her to write about being in love after previously fixating on emotions of heartbreak and longing for her music.
“Talking about being heartbroken is a very common thing,” Lipa explained of her older music. “When I was younger, I found much more inspiration in the search and desire. And that’s because feeling broken is a very strong and loud emotion.”
“But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love,” the New Rules singer continued. “I’m interested in the complexities of a relationship, its quieter aspects, the little things.”
Lipa and Turner got married earlier this summer in a private ceremony in Sicily, after an earlier legal wedding ceremony in London.
Their relationship became public in 2024, and Lipa confirmed their engagement in an interview last year.
