Florence Pugh plans to ‘stop’ acting ahead of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ release?

Florence Pugh recently got candid and hinted at taking some time off from acting.

The 30-year-old English actress did a garden photoshoot for ELLE Spain, where she reflected on her successful career, revealing that she is now considering to slowing down after landing roles in several hit movies.

Pugh explained to the outlet that in order to achieve more success in her career, she needs some time to spend with herself, as it will help her make better decisions.

She said, “Taking care of myself. It’s that simple. Being able to breathe. For a long time, I’ve said I needed to slow down, but the truth is I never did.”

“In the end, I was burning myself out,” the Oppenheimer star admitted. “Now I’m dedicating more time to my family and friends.”

“I need to recharge to keep tackling such demanding roles. So, for me, success is having learned to stop,” Pugh articulated.

For those unaware, the Thunderbolts* actress’s latest movie was Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which was opened in theatres on July 31, 2026. The film’s cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Jacob Batalon, to name a few.

It is pertinent to mention that Florence Pugh’s forthcoming movies are Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three and East of Eden, which will be released in theatres on the same day, i.e., December 18, 2026.
