Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s most ‘ruthless’ ploy takes effect

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to move back to the UK has changed things greatly, so much so that commentators, critics and even royal supporters warn this will not bode as well with the heir to the throne as is does for the current monarch.

For those unversed with this announcement, its been dropped by The Telegraph and reveals some key aspects of this move. Reportedly the Sussexes have even gone as far as to enroll their kids in a British school where they’ll start in September of this year.

Now, in response to this comes royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams whose spoken to the Daily Mail about the reaction William must have.

According to him, “it provokes a crisis for the monarchy because the monarchy’s responses are often poor when they don’t know what to expect. With this, you certainly don’t know what to expect. You never know what happens in the wildlife, all sorts of things may happen.”

Moreover, the commentator also issued a pretty harsh verdict over the timeline. In his own words he said, “it is utterly ruthless if he did tell the King of his plans to move on Sunday.”

However, that wasn’t even the worst part of it, because Mr Fitzwilliams didn’t conclude his conversation there, instead he also pointed out the ‘worst’ part in all this with candor and said, “this is actually an extremely serious situation. What they have done is very clearly chosen King Charles’s reign to do this knowing their options might be very limited when, and if, William becomes king. I strongly suspect that William would look very closely at their titles and possibly the titles of their children. William will see this as total proof they couldn’t be trusted for a single second.”

While the outlet made it clear that the Sussexes have no intentions of stepping back into the royal fold, via their sources, the commentator pointed out how quickly tides turn when the husband and wife are involved.

He explained it in the following words which are, that “this is absolutely sensational because it’s one thing discussing what might happen, but when they are actually here and able to put on the charm, which is undoubtedly what they’ll try and do, who knows what might happen. They are still in line to the throne. Remember, that is still around. There would be a massive charm offensive.”

Only near the end did he point out the biggest proof of this, and admit, “the British public can change their views, like they did with Camilla.”
