The Beatles biopic is a much-anticipated release, with a long list of expectations ahead of them and fans were not convinced they were being met after the creators shared a new look.
The four-part movie which is in works presently stars Harris Dickinson, Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn and Barry Keoghan as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, respectively.
In a new photo, the four movie stars were seen posing in their costumes and wigs, apparently ready for the shoot.
However, fans ruthlessly criticised the looks, going on to say that it looked like a “prank.”
Flocking to the comments, one X user wrote, “Out of the four, Harris Dickinson has been the best. His portrayal of Lennon has been the most accurate.”
While another had nothing positive to note as they added, “some of the worst wig work i’ve ever seen in my life.”
Another agreed, “Why are the wigs so bad?”
One chimed in, “Please tell me we are not serious with John’s beard. Omg,” while someone inspired hope, writing, “Trust the process man.”
One more praised, “Aww look at joseph as george so adorable,” whereas others claimed, “Looks like an SNL sketch,” and “ok how the f–k do they look like they’re just wearing bad costumes for halloween?”
Someone declared, “This is going to be a disaster.”
