Rihanna gave her children a glimpse into her roots, sharing photos and video on Instagram August 11 of a visit to her childhood home in Barbados with her three kids, sons RZA, 4, and Riot, 3, and daughter Rocki, 10 months, all shared with partner A$AP Rocky.
The colourful bungalow, located in the Bridgetown suburb of Westbury, has been designated a cultural landmark and officially renamed “Rihanna Drive” since 2017, allowing fans to visit the home where she grew up.
Rihanna reflected on the full-circle moment in her caption.
“One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury. The next minute I’m bringing my own kids back to ‘Rihanna Drive.’ Trippy how life works! And the Glory STILL and WILL ALWAYS belong to the Almighty Creator!!!”
The Barbados trip came alongside other family time, including accompanying A$AP Rocky to a Spotify event in Cannes, France.
Motherhood has become a defining part of Rihanna’s public identity in recent years.
In a 2025 Harper’s Bazaar profile, she spoke candidly about balancing her career with her role as a parent, saying, “Every decision I make revolves around them, but everything that I do that I love robs me from them. So I have a weird resentment with the things that I love. You almost feel like something is always suffering for you to show up somewhere.”
