Palace pours cold water on Prince Harry’s hopes of easy royal return

Prince Harry’s personal win has taken a shocking turn after a brutal reality check was delivered to the Duke.

A big update recently came from Buckingham Palace that one of King Charles’ most trusted advisers, Sir Clive Alderton, is set to retire.

It is important to note that he is the same person whom Harry called “The Wasp” in his memoir Spare. The former working royal was not fond of him and claimed that Sir Clive created hurdles for reconciliation between him and his father.

Now, his farewell from the Palace must be big news for Harry, but royal expert Kinsey Schofield believes that Sir Clive was only one member of the committee inside the Palace; there must be others who question the Duke’s loyalty to date.

In conversation with Page Six, she said, “Harry may welcome Sir Clive’s retirement personally, especially after portraying him so negatively in Spare.

“But if Harry believes one retirement suddenly clears the path back into the Royal Family, I think he’ll be disappointed/ The trust deficit is far bigger than any one adviser.”

The royal commentator said that the peace between the royals and the Sussexes is not dependent on the King’s advisors but on Harry, who is yet to convince his family that history won’t repeat itself.

Kinsey did not believe that calling Sir Clive’s retirement a big victory for Harry.

She explained that the “…Palace policy isn’t built around one individual.

“The issues that fractured the relationship, trust, confidentiality, and Harry’s repeated public criticism of the institution, don’t disappear because one courtier is retiring.”

Here, the biggest task for Harry is to make the royal family believe in his loyalty again after years of bad mouthing.
