Prince Harry reveals true feelings on missing nephew George’s milestone

Prince Harry had left his senior royal position behind when he moved out of the UK to settle in the Montecito with Meghan Markle and his children.

Even though there was an intense rift between him and the royals, especially his brother Prince William, there was one bond that he held close to his heart and cared about.

The Duke of Sussex is a proud father, but before he had children of his own, he became uncle to his “beautiful” firstborn nephew, George. The excitement that Harry had for this new role had been palpable as he expressed all the things he wanted to share with him.

In his memoir, Spare, he talked about how he “couldn’t wait” to teach George about “rugby and Rorke’s Drift, flying and corridor cricket – and maybe give him a few pointers about how to survive life in the fishbowl”. Moreover, in other interviews, he also expressed how much he wanted to bring George to the Invictus Games and what it means to him.

Sadly, there is much of bonding time that Harry missed with George as he turned 13 this month. All the plans he had for bonding with his nephew have been lost to the ongoing royal rift.

On top of that many experts have pointed out that the role that Harry wanted to play has been taken by Zara’s husband Mike Tindall. It is understood that Harry misses having the opportunity to not only spend time with William and Kate’s children but also wants Archie and Lilibet to connect with their cousins.
