Coldplay kiss cam controversy: Astronomer CEO put on leave

The Coldplay concert gave unwanted attention to the Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Head of HR Kristin Cabot.
As per the viral video, the two were spotted embracing each other on jumbotron at Gillette Stadium in Boston.
The sighting allegedly exposed ongoing affair between the two.
Everything turned haywire after the incident made rounds on the internet.
The organization has switched to its damage control mode.
Recent reports reveal that the company has currently removed Byron from his post.
Astronomer released a statement on LinkedIn July 18 announcing its decision regarding him.
“Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO,” the company’s statement read. “We will share more details as appropriate in the coming days.”
Moreover, the firm has also announced that it has launched a formal investigation into the matter.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” a separate statement from the organization read. “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.”
Astronomer also made a point that ‘no other employee were in the video’ and cleared the air regarding the statements allegedly given by Byron which are making rounds on the internet.
“Andy Byron has not put out any statement,” the firm shared, “reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”
