Madonna is revisiting one of her most controversial moments of her career.
As reported by Radar Online, the Queen of Pop is considering a follow-up to her 1992 book, Sex. The book became one of the best-selling coffee-table books ever released.
An insider has told the outlet, “Madonna is on a mission.”
“She’s determined to prove that women don’t stop being sexual, powerful or relevant once they reach their 60s,” they added.
It is pertinent to mention that this comes as Madonna is already making headlines with her new music. She performed a 15-minute set in Times Square to promote her latest album, Confessions II.
Furthermore, sources also revealed that the singer has no intention of stepping away from the spotlight despite being 67.
The source stated, “Most stars her age quietly step back.”
“Madonna is doing the exact opposite. She refuses to fade into the background,” they added.
Madonna’s upcoming album Confessions II is set to release on July 3rd. However, the Pop icon is reportedly gifting fans an early listen of the album through Thursday livestream.
On July 2, Madonna will sit down with Bob the Drag Queen, Stuart Price & her daughter Lola Leon on the iHeartRadio and TikTok Live premiere.
