Madonna has reportedly sent FIFA officials into a frenzy!
Insiders revealed to Radar Online that the Queen of pop made some shocking demands for a potential World Cup halftime performance which have become increasingly difficult to manage.
Sources claim that Madonna is pushing for full creative control over the show, along with elaborate staging, extensive rehearsals, heightened security and a production budget which is described as “astronomical.”
“Madonna’s treating it like the centerpiece of a global comeback,” the source stated.
Adding, “FIFA underestimated how intense she is.”
However, even with the intense pressure, football bosses are said to be prepared to tolerate the chaos because of Madonna’s unmatched ability to turn a live performance into global media spectacle.
The source stated, “no artist alive turns a performance into a global media event faster than Madonna.”
It is pertinent to mention that Madonna is currently in the middle of massive career comeback. She is set to release her 15th studio album Confessions II on JULY 3 and also reunited with producer Stuart Price to create a direct electronic-dance sequel to her iconic 2005 record Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Recently, Madonna dropped the lead single, Bring Your Love of her upcoming album in collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter. The duo first sparked headlines when Madonna made surprise cameo during Sabrina’s headlining Weekend 2 set at Coachella 2026.
