What Could Taylor Swift’s Bachelorette Party Look Like?

As photos emerged this week of guests arriving at Taylor Swift’s home in Watch Hill, R.I., speculation swirled once again, with many fans guessing that the singer was possibly gathering her closest friends for a bachelorette celebration ahead of her wedding.

It’s not an unrealistic scene to imagine: Inside of her $17 million mansion, Swift and her inner circle could be making friendship bracelets — a craft that has become practically synonymous with the pop star thanks to a wistful line in her 2022 song, “You’re On Your Own, Kid.”

Following midweek internet speculation that the singer was hosting her bachelorette party at her Rhode Island home, it remains unclear what took place on Swift’s property. Earlier, fans flocked to Watch Hill amid reports that the coastal village could host the singer’s wedding on June 13, though there were no signs that Swift was in town last weekend.

On Thursday, TMZ first reported on a since-deleted TikTok video that showed a blond woman dressed in white with three other women, as well as someone who appeared to be Swift’s childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard. The footage added fuel to ongoing speculation that Swift and her fiancé, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, may be planning to tie the knot in New York over the Fourth of July weekend.

Which raises the question: What might a Swift bachelorette weekend at her Rhode Island home, Holiday House, look like?

The answer may be less star-studded spectacle and more cozy weekend retreat. Wedding experts say an increasing number of brides are embracing low-key bachelorette celebrations.

“She is a self-proclaimed homebody,” said Misse Daniel, the owner of Honey Bee Weddings in Chicago and a longtime Swift fan. “She talks about her ‘grandmother hobbies.’”

Opting for meaningful activities, smaller guest lists and personalized touches for each attendee could be an integral part of the gathering for the singer. After all, Swift has shown a penchant for emotional gestures of this nature, whether writing letters to her tour crew or customizing a loaf of Funfetti sourdough specifically for the daughters of her future brother-in-law Jason Kelce.

“What I think of when I think of Taylor is somebody who has really strong friendships,” said Tracy Taylor Ward, the owner of the luxury event planning company Tracy Taylor Ward Design in New York. “I imagine her making the bachelorette about her story with each person who’s attending.”

To that end, Ward envisions a scenario where guests are presented with customized books or journals, along with handwritten notes in their rooms. It’s a fitting thought, given that Swift likened herself to an English teacher in her Aug. 26, 2025, engagement post on Instagram.

Other brides could easily opt for sentimental or customized touches of their own, Daniel said, such as presenting each guest with a unique style of sleepwear or piece of jewelry.

Treating attendees to multiple gifts over a bachelorette weekend is becoming common among high-budget brides, Daniel said.

“The first day, you definitely get the welcome gift,” she said. But making sure to “sprinkle the treats out” is essential. After a day full of activities, bachelorette guests might encounter a specialty set of pajamas and a matching sleep mask in their bedrooms, for example.

In Swift’s case, opting for “cutting-edge” gifts is even more essential, Daniel said. “A lot of her friends are going to have the opportunity to get anything that they want,” she said, “so you want to make it new and fun and tantalizing.”

Even without access to financial resources like Swift’s, brides-to-be can certainly draw inspiration from a laid-back weekend of this nature.

“It’s about this return to nostalgia and friendship,” Ward said, “and not about hard partying.”
