King Charles will not shy away from facing any controversial ordeal or challenges that come his way, even if it involves rehashing his past.
Since his ascension to the throne, Charles has faced a slew of setbacks and difficult situations, and on top of that he has had to deal with his own cancer treatment as well.
The King concluded his high-stakes Caribbean tour last week despite the calls for slavery reparations and official apology. Charles managed to woo the Commonwealth nations in a way even William and Catherine could not do it.

Moreover, an aide of the King had confirmed that Charles is open to any nations leaving the commonwealth. Now, the Palace has made confirmation for another bold decision for the monarch: a visit to China.
According to royal insiders cited by Daily Mail’s Rebecca English, there is no trip to China in the works. However, Charles would say yes if he was asked to take on the tour, despite his past comments.
One Whitehall source told The Mail on Sunday, “We understand the King would be quite up for it, if it came to it.”
When he was Prince of Wales, he “made no secret of his antipathy to the Chinese regime”. As heir to the throne, he boycotted UK state banquets for presidents Jiang Zemin in 1999 and Hu Jintao in 2005 over China’s human rights record.
“If the government said ‘Will the King go to China?’ I think we would think about it very carefully,” a royal aide said.
“China is a hugely important country… a very complex country,” they explained.” It would pose a lot of complexity in putting a programme together. This is the 40th anniversary of the last state visit.”
