Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received some harsh criticism following their stance on being dubbed as ‘non-working royals’.
Previously, sources close to the Sussexes had stated that Harry and Meghan do not like the term ‘working members of the royal family’ as it is a “lazy” phrase.
This was considered a subtle snub to the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are the senior most working members in terms of their titles, after the King and Queen.

According to a royal expert Emily Andrews, the remark from Harry and Meghan is not coming from a place of duty but rather a place of being bereft.
She insisted that “real royals” are perfectly happy with the term ‘working royals’, whereas the “fake royals” are “whinging and moaning (through their well-placed ‘friends’) to anyone who’ll listen that they are, indeed, still royals”.
Emily added that the royals have to take on important duties which include significant events including Aberfan, Remembrance Sunday at Cenotaph, but Harry and Meghan do not want to be dragged into “boring, cold, hat-wearing engagements they don’t care about and are told to do by Buckingham Palace”.
Another thing the royal expert emphasised on was how royals are not talking about the members who have left the royal family but Harry keeps on bringing up family feuds.
She particularly highlighted Harry’s GQ interview noting when he suggested ‘some people’ don’t want reconciliation.
Emily’s analysis drew comparisons that surmised how the Sussexes are trying to get the attention of the royals but they are only turning the other cheek.
