King Charles has taken a rather different approach than his predecessors in a bid to protect the monarch as his aide reveals surprising plans that lay ahead.
The monarch had just concluded his high-stakes Caribbean tour which took place amid the chorus of slavery reparation calls.
While Charles did not shy away from acknowledging the “darkest chapter of the past”, he did not issue a formal apology. This was also a firm stance encouraged by the UK Government.

There have been reports of many nations deciding to leave the Commonwealth, but the King’s aide has expressed that there is no issue if a state takes that decision.
The senior aide insisted that the what is being dubbed as “challenging”, the King has “no difficulty” Commonwealth leaders hoping to ditch the monarchy.
They noted that the King and the royal family are there to “serve the people of these regions for as long as they wish”. However, if they don’t wish for that anymore, then they are “open to that”.
“If you want to change the name of the Governor General to President, which is perhaps the most visible difference it makes, we’ve got no difficulty with that.”
The aide told The Sun that there is a “a pattern emerging of the Government asking the King to head into politically charged situations” as he has proved to be a “great secret weapon”.
They added that the trip was exhausting but “very successful”.
“The King has demonstrated his statecraft,” they continued. “The King is not just King for the easy parts of the job, but the tough parts, too. That’s probably the part of the job he relishes most.”
