KATSEYE has cancelled two more shows, revealing that member Megan Skiendel suffered a concussion.
The six-member girl group — which currently only has four active members due to Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman’s ongoing mental health hiatus — announced that their Wildworld Tour concerts scheduled for Nov. 5 and Nov. 7 in Chicago and Minneapolis are cancelled. This follows the controversial last-minute cancellation of their Detroit concert on Nov. 3, when KATSEYE explained that Megan is “unwell and unable to perform.”
Now, the group has revealed that Megan suffered a concussion. “The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion.”

Megan, 20, issued her own statement on her Instagram Stories. “I currently have a concussion, and am doing everything i possibly can to recover from it so i can be on stage for you all again. I wanted to try my best to still make the show happen, but ive been strongly advised by medical professionals that i need to take this time to fully recover, and come back safely.”
Meanwhile, Daniela, 22, Lara, 21, and Yoonchae, 18, issued a statement to their Stories, writing, “The 4 of us cannot begin to express how sorry we are for postponing our detroit, chicago, and minneapolis shows.”

The group insisted that they “tried everything” to make a 3-woman show possible for fans who travelled long distances. “It wasn’t a lack of desire or willingness on our part,” they noted.
“Please send your love to megan and know that she is doing everything she can to get better. We love all of you so much, and we cant wait to make it up to you,” the statement concluded, promising rescheduled shows.
