King Charles’ team has brought a low-key change to their official Instagram page following a wise decision made by Prince Harry.
On November 6, it came to our attention that the royal family changed its display image on Instagram to honour the armed forces as Remembrance Day approaches.
The new image showcased King Charles from last year’s Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London.

On the other hand, the Palace also stated the Duchess of Gloucester fulfilled a key royal task by planting a cross at the Field of Remembrance on behalf of Queen Camilla.
The message reads, “The Field of Remembrance has a long history of attendance by a member of the Royal Family, transforming the grounds near Westminster Abbey into a poignant sea of wooden crosses bearing poppies.
“Usually held on the Thursday before Remembrance Sunday, this ceremony marks the beginning of the nation’s formal period of Remembrance.”
Notably, the new Instagram DP update came after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their trip to Brussels.
The couple will visit Belgium’s capital on Tuesday, November 10, to open the Lost Screen Memorial.

It is understood that, in this way, Harry won’t overshadow the royal family’s key outing for Remembrance Day.Â
