Sabrina Carpenter turned her Short n Sweet concert into a rom-com with Anne Hathaway “arrest” moment.

On Sunday, October 26, the Espresso hitmaker took the Madison Square Garden stage, kicking off her sold out five night concert series in New York City.

When it came time for the Juno arrest tradition, the Grammy winner locked her sights on The Princess Diaries star, who was standing in the audience near the stage.

Their banter was pure gold. The former Disney star-turned-pop sensation complimented the Oscar winner, saying, “Has anyone ever told you that you look like a princess?”

The Devil Wears Prada actress smiled and flashed a heart, made with her hands, in response. The Please Please Please chart topper then pulled off her signature move.

“I’m in the presence of a princess, I’m getting so flustered, oh my skirt!” just as she said it, her skirt dropped prompting the crowd to erupt in cheers.

Keeping the moment alive, the Manchild songstress then took out and flaunted her iconic pink fluffy handcuffs in the air, saying, “Can I give you these handcuffs?”

Bending down from the stage, she handed them to The Idea of You actress, who kissed them upon receiving. The Girl Meets World alum then dedicated her hit Juno to the 42-year-old actress.

Hathaway is the latest celebrities to get arrested during Carpenter’s playful segment which has featured, Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown and Joe Keery, Taylor Swift’s longtime pal and collaborator Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley, Saturday Night Live member Marcello Hernandez as his character Domingo and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice).

Salma Hayek, Ayo Edebiri TWICE (members Sana, Jihyo, and Momo) and most recently One Direction famed singer Zayn Malik’s ex girlfriend Gigi Hadid also became a part of the Juno “arrest” trend.
