The 12-year-old appeared to be growing up fast, with royal watchers quick to notice how much taller and more mature he looked beside his father.
Both William and George showed their support for Remembrance Day by wearing poppy pins on their jackets.
Eton College is currently closed until Sunday, November 8, giving George time away from his studies for the trip.
Before kick-off, Barcelona president Joan Laporta greeted the royal guests and presented them with a personalised Barça shirt.
The VIP box also included former Barcelona goalkeepers Amador Lorenzo, Pere Valentà Mora and Jesús Mariano Angoy, alongside former club player Allan Simonsen.
Also seated behind William and George was Edward van Cutsem, the King’s godson.
FC later acknowledged the Prince of Wales’s attendance in a post on social media, thanking him for joining the club for the much-anticipated fixture.
