Lake Bell and her boyfriend, the artist Rashid Johnson, have made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2026 CFDA Awards, just days after confirming their relationship on Instagram.
The appearance follows a Halloween “hard launch” that got fans talking.
On Saturday 31 October, the Boston Legal actress, 47, shared a photo of herself in a black stole and matching beret, with Johnson, 49, beside her in a navy velvet tuxedo jacket.

She captioned it “Happy Hallow-hard launch.”
The pair had already been seen out together in recent weeks.
They attended a New York Times event in September marking 175 years of independent reporting, and a few days before their Instagram post they were at the American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala.
It is not known how long they have been together.
Bell was married to the tattoo artist Scott Campbell from 2013 to 2020, and the former couple share two children, Nova, 12, and Ozgood, 9. She was also reported to be dating Chris Rock in 2022.
Johnson, one of the leading artists of his generation, was married for 15 years to the artist Sheree Hovsepian.
The couple announced their split earlier this year and have a 14-year-old son, Julius.
With the CFDA Awards appearance following so soon after the Instagram post, the couple appear comfortable being seen together in public.
The event is one of the biggest nights in the American fashion calendar, which makes it a high-profile place to step out for the first time on a red carpet.
