King Charles’ health concerns put William, Catherine’s key plans on hold

Prince William and Princess Kate made key changes to their plans amid concerns for cancer-stricken King Charles.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are the most important members of the monarch’s team. On King’s behalf, the couple represents the royal family at several distinguished events.

After Catherine announced that she is in remission from cancer, fans expected a joint royal tour of the two in Australia. Though the future Queen went on a meaningful tour of Italy, this year the Waleses’ reported Australia tour was not made possible.

Now, sources claimed that the real reason behind this delay is King Charles’ health issues.

According to New Idea, “William and Kate have yet to accept the Aussie PM’s invite, but Robert Irwin wants them down under just as much as any Aussie.

“William’s promised to bring the kids to the Irwin zoo one day, and Robert takes every opportunity to remind him of that.”

It has been almost 10 years since the Waleses travelled to Down Under as the firm prioritised King Charles’ maximum tours, keeping in mind his growing age and cancer treatment.

“It’s all unnecessary, of course, because William and Kate have Australia on their schedule every year, but something always comes up that forces them to push it back,” an insider added. “The King’s health has been a huge factor stopping them from committing to a big tour.”
