Jessica Simpson has found a new love following her separation from estranged husband Eric Johnson.
On Thursday, an insider spilled to People magazine that the 45-year-old singer is in a new relationship with Nashville-based roadie musician Thomas Eisenhood.
“She’s happy. She’s in a great place, excited for her future,” the source said.
Meanwhile, another source told TMZ that Jessica and Thomas met through mutual friends. The new couple is said to be taking things slow, and Thomas has not yet met Jessica’s kids.
For those unversed, Jessica and Eric parted ways in January 2025, after 10 years of marriage. The Take My Breath Away hitmaker shares three kids, Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6, with the guitarist.
“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” Jessica said in a statement at that time.
“Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family,” she added.
At the time, the source claimed that the split was due to the couple’s “trust issues,” which “drove a wedge between them.”
