Christa Miller called Susan Saint James her “biggest cheerleader.”
Just days after the Kate & Allie actress’ death, her niece Christa Miller took to Instagram to remember her late aunt with a heartfelt tribute, alongside their sweet pictures together.
Miller began, “Some people are woven into the story of our lives in ways we can never fully put into words. For me, that is my Aunt Susan.”
“Susie was a lightning bolt of a person. She lit up every room she walked into. The kindest, coolest, funniest, most beautiful human who loved BIG and brought her joie de vivre into everything. She was always up for an adventure, always ready to laugh, and somehow made every situation feel a little more alive just by being in it,” the Scrubs star added.
Moreover, the actress said her aunt “enveloped me into her family and made me feel so loved.”
“She was my biggest cheerleader,” Miller continued. “I loved talking to her about work, and she loved how inspired I was by acting. When I needed someone to believe in me, she did. She told me I could do it. Having Susan in my corner gave me a kind of confidence that has stayed with me throughout my career.”
“I imagine Susie is already running things wherever she is now — bossing everyone around, embarking on some grand adventure, and bringing joy, care, and laughter to absolutely everybody. I know she’s whooping it up there. I love you, Aunt Susan. Thank you for believing in me, for making me laugh, for loving me so fiercely. The world was brighter with you in it,” the 62-year-old actress further added in the tribute.
It is pertinent to mention here that Susan Saint James died at the age of 80 on October 26, after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, as reported by People Magazine.
