Ariana Grande, prior to her 60 tattoos, has unveiled a new set of designs on her hands, featuring complex floral motifs and intricate linework.
The Grammy winner shared photos on Instagram, showcasing tattoos on her fingers and palms that appeared to create a botanical theme.
In one of the snaps, the Everyday hitmaker posed, covering her face to show her latest artwork.
Ariana, meanwhile, shed light in a recent interview on a stressful phase of her life.
It was the year 2017. A bombing at her concert in Manchester killed 22 people. Then, within a month of the incident, Mac Miller, her ex-boyfriend, died of an accidental drug overdose.
A year later, the musician released her album, Sweetener.
At the time, while making music, Grande admitted she was battling mental health challenges, including post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, depression, and anxiety.
“I was doing so much therapy, and I was dealing with PTSD and all different kinds of grief and depression and anxiety. And I was, of course, treating it very seriously, but having music be a part of that remedy was absolutely contributing to saving my life,” she said on the podcast Chatter.
“They were dark times, and the music brought so much levity, and so did the experience. But it poured out with urgency, and it was made with urgency, and it was a means of survival,” Grande concluded.
