Jeremy Allen White revealed the special present he received from Bruce Springsteen ahead of biopic, Deliver Me from Nowhere release.
The Bear actor stars as the legendry rock singer in the upcoming film, which follows young Springsteen’s time around recording and the release of 1982 album, Nebraska.
During his appearance at the CBS Mornings, the Golden Globe winner opened up about a 30-year-old baseball hat that he received from the Grammy Award winner.
“I have an old Mets hat that I wear very often that’s pretty tattered up and torn,” White said. “I wore it at Telluride Film Festival, where I spent a lot of time with Bruce.”
While he already had a hat, the Dancing in the Dark crooner brought him another one.
Pointing towards the new hat while looking at the camera, he added, “This is the hat he’s had for 30 years. All tattered and torn. So now, I’ve been carrying it around as a good luck charm.”
In addition to White, Odessa Young, Scott Cooper, Jeremy Strong and Stephen Graham, also stars in the biopic.
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is slated to be released on October 24.
