ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced a nationwide protest against the rising prices of essential commodities on a daily basis.
According to private TV, the PPP staged a protest against inflation at Aabpara Chowk in Islamabad in which a large number of party officials and workers participated. Addressing the protesters, PPP Central Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said that the present incompetent government has snatched two loaves of bread from the poor people, flour, sugar, and medicines are out of reach of the poor people. He said that this movement will be spread in all corners of the country and This government will be sent home to suffocate, the PPP leadership also announced to start protests across the country against inflation and rising prices.
