India is making history by hosting the Miss World pageant for two consecutive years, an achievement never before seen outside the United Kingdom. The 2024 edition took place in Mumbai, and the upcoming 2025 finale is set to be held in Hyderabad on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre.
India, first, hosted the prestigious event in Bengaluru in 1996, and with this back-to-back hosting, it becomes only the second country, after the United Kingdom, to do so since the pageant’s inception in 1951.
So far, the six Miss World winners from India include – Reita Faria (1966, Maharashtra), Aishwarya Rai (1994, Karnataka), Diana Hayden (1997, Telangana), Yukta Mookhey (1999, Maharashtra), Priyanka Chopra (2000, Jharkhand), and Manushi Chhillar (2017, Haryana).
At the Miss World 2025 pageant, Rajasthan’s Nandini Gupta will be representing India. On the international stage, her involvement carries on the country’s tradition of mixing intelligence, beauty, and purpose.

Miss World 2025: Entry Pass
The Telangana Tourism website is offering free entry tickets from the Telangana government. Interested parties must register on the official website.
Step 1: Go to the Telangana tourism main website at tourism.telangana.gov.in
Step 2: Search and click on the “Miss World” section under Upcoming Attractions.
Step 3: Then select the “click here” option that is placed against the “Register yourself and answer 5 correct questions to win your seat in the Miss World events” link.
Step 4: Remember to key in the essential credentials.
Step 5: Choose the correct answer to the listed questions and click on Submit.
The selection of participating candidates will be done using this pre-curated questionnaire. An email granting complimentary admission tickets to the Gachibowli Stadium box office will be sent to the confirmed participants starting on May 8.
