West Indies defeat Pakistan by five wickets in rain-affected 2nd ODI – SUCH TV

The West Indies defeated Pakistan by five wickets, with Roston Chase and Justin Greaves spearheading the run chase to level the one-day series.

Chase scored 49 runs, while Greaves remained unbeaten on 26, striking an exciting mix of fours and sixes in a rain-shortened match in Tarouba.

Earlier, a shaky start for the hosts was rescued by Sherfane Rutherford, whose brisk 45 off 33 balls swung the momentum back in West Indies’ favour.

Chase sealed the deal by steering a delivery from Hasan Ali through cover for four and he punched the air in celebration.

“I’m happy with the win. We had to come in and level the series, so very pleased,” Chase, who was named man of the match, said.

The decisive third match of the series takes place at the same venue on Tuesday.
