Arshad Nadeem’s Comeback in Doubt – SUCH TV

Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem’s participation in the upcoming two Diamond League events faces uncertainty as he continues recovery after recent surgery.

Arshad underwent surgery on his throwing arm last week in London under the care of specialist Dr. Ali Bajwa and is currently in rehabilitation.

The coaching team aims for him to be fully fit before the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan this September.

The Diamond League meets are scheduled for August 16 in Poland and August 27-28 in Switzerland.

Arshad traveled to England earlier this month for championship preparations and is now focused on a critical two-week physiotherapy program in London.Coach Salman Butt informed that rehab is progressing steadily.

The plan includes possible participation in at least one competition prior to the World Championships to regain competitive form.

Arshad Nadeem, Pakistan’s first individual Olympic gold medal contender, finished fifth at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

He also won gold medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics Test Event, continuing to build his impressive track record.

The nation waits eagerly for Arshad’s return to full strength as he sets sights on global success in the months ahead.
