Sabrina Carpenter just proved that some Disney friendships never fade.
On Monday, October 27, the Grammy-winning pop star attended her former Girl Meets World co-star Corey Fogelmanis’s New York City premiere of his new movie, I Wish You All The Best.
According to Page Six, Carpenter, 26, skipped the red carpet and slipped in quietly through a back entrance moments before the screening began and took her seat next to Fogelmanis, also 26.
The reunion delighted fans who still remember the duo’s chemistry from their Disney days, when they starred as Maya and Farkle on the hit Boy Meets World spinoff, which ended in 2017. The show launched both Carpenter and Fogelmanis into stardom.
Carpenter has been on a major career high, performing four back-to-back sold-out shows of her Short N’ Sweet Tour at Madison Square Garden this week. Her opening night even made headlines after she continued her viral “arresting” bit by handcuffing Anne Hathaway on stage.
Meanwhile, Fogelmanis’ latest project — written and directed by 13 Reasons Why alum Tommy Dorfman — follows a high school student who comes out as nonbinary and is forced to rebuild their life after being rejected by their family.
This isn’t the first time that the longtime friends have reunited recently. Back in June, the duo posted a TikTok dancing along to Carpenter’s hit song Manchild from her latest album, Man’s Best Friend.
