Offset gives Halloween treat to fans with surprise album ‘Haunted by Fame’

Offset sent fans into a frenzy by taking over the spooky season with a surprise album, Haunted by Fame.

Just in time as Halloween spirits are at their peak, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, took to Instagram on Friday, October 31, to announce the release of his new set of songs.

“F**K A SPOOKY SEASON / IT’S SET SEASON [exclamation mark emoji] HAUNTED BY FAME OUT NOW [thumbs up emoji]| YA DIGG OUT ON YOUTUBE,” he wrote alongside a preview of his new song Ya Digg music video.

Fans were thrilled for the new album, which has been dropped just months after the Atlanta rapper’s third solo project, with one gushing, “bros feeding us [crying emoji] offset on a generational run rn.”

For the unversed, Cardi B’s ex had a major year in 2017, releasing two standout projects.

Culture, the Migos’ second studio album, featuring Offset alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff, dropped on January 27, 2017, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

Later that year, on October 31, he teamed up with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin for Without Warning, a surprise Halloween release that became an instant classic.

That’s why fans are feeling extra nostalgic this Halloween season.

Additionally, before releasing the latest 11-track album Offset teased it on Instagram two days ago, “Halloween… Haunted By Fame 10•31 [purple smiling face with horns].
