Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce step out for date night ahead of big event

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce managed to sneak out for a private date night despite the public attention since their engagement announcement.

The 35-year-old pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, stepped out to celebrate the grand launch of Kelce’s 1587 Prime Steakhouse which is co-owned by him and teammate, Patrick Mahomes.

The newly engaged couple dined at the eatery, alongside Mahomes and his family, including wife Brittany Mahomes and children, before it officially opens on September 17, as reported by TMZ.

According to sources, the Grammy winner and the NFL star arrived “hand in hand” at around 6:15 p.m. local time, and climbed up a grand staircase to meet and greet their friends and family who attended the event.

The couple kept the evening “low-key but affectionate” as they got seated in a semi-private corner booth.

The source also shared that the couple “acted like any normal couple” as they celebrated the evening, with showing PDA from time to time and having a cheerful time with everyone.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker was reportedly dressed in a blue denim dress with wedge heels, and her blonde hair was swept to the side.

While Kelce sported a green striped top and a cap for the date night.

As per the outlet, Swift was “funny, gracious and approachable” towards the excited staff who gushed over the singer making time to “greet everyone she passed.”

The celebration comes after Swift recently skipped her fiancé’s game day in Brazil which the team ended up losing.

The Lover singer’s reason for not supporting Kelce at the event was reported to be the 13-hour travel to Sao Paolo, which the other WAGs also missed.
