A woman shared why she has chosen to raise her child in China instead of America, and her latest reason has left the internet amazed. Through a now-viral video, she gave a sneak peek into what indoor playgrounds in China look like today.

“I can’t believe what some indoor playgrounds in China look like now… I took my son to Meland in Beijing and was BLOWN AWAY. It felt like stepping into the future, a mix between an amusement park, a massive jungle gym, and endless pretend-play stations where kids can go wild all day,” she shared in her post on Instagram.

The video shows an indoor space that looks straight out of a sci-fi movie, complete with glowing tunnels, space-themed installations, and soft padded play zones. Parents can be seen comfortably enjoying the surroundings while their kids explore freely.

Designed for Kids, Loved by Parents

More than just fun, the playground offers convenience and comfort for parents too.

“They’ve got a café with legitimately yummy food (and I’m picky!), plus nutritious kids’ meals. Need a nap zone? Done. Baby feeding or diaper changes? They’ve got dedicated spots for that too. And the bathrooms? Spotless—staff were constantly cleaning, so everything felt pristine,” she added in her post.

Unlike many indoor play spaces that often feel chaotic and poorly maintained, this one stands out for its cleanliness and thoughtful design. The woman appreciated how the playground seemed to have been built with both children and parents in mind.

Futuristic and Beautiful

“But the real shocker? The aesthetics. Most playgrounds are… let’s be real—ugly. Clashing colours, zero design sense. Meland’s the opposite. They collaborate with artists, and every detail looks like it was styled by a pro. Even the colour scheme feels intentional,” the post read.

The design isn’t just functional; it is visually stunning. The lighting, artwork, and colours come together to create a space that feels futuristic and imaginative. It is easy to see why kids would want to spend hours there, and why adults are equally impressed.
