Liam Payne’s sophomore album has sparked buzz with the recent leak of a few emotional track titles.

The song names surfaced just days after the first anniversary of his passing on October 16.

According to an insider, new details have emerged about two of the unreleased tracks, “Safe in Heaven” and “Rainbow,” which were shared with *The Sun*.

In Safe in Heaven, the star sings about “searching for a way back to myself.”

Meanwhile in Rainbow, he muses, “I got all these rainbows over my head, but somehow I see the sun creeping out the mess.”

“At times I tend to blur lines, seemed like a good idea when I did it at the time. I blacked out but coming back around,” it adds.

Weeks before Payne’s passing, the record was placed on hold by the label despite its single Teardrops was released months ago, ultimately becoming the last song of his career.

However, the source went on to share what really went down between Payne and the record label that album got lost in limbo.

An insider revealed that “Liam was really proud of his second album, but the label was concerned he wasn’t in the right headspace to release it. Ultimately, this led to them going their separate ways.”

Teasing what one can expect from the album, they continued, “The whole record is really emotional and feels almost autobiographical. It’s the most personal body of work Liam ever wrote and recorded.”

The tipster further shared that the album was “lyrically on par with some of Lewis Capaldi’s work, but sonically upbeat.”

“Liam wanted that record to be released. He wanted to share it with his fans who had always supported and backed him,” the source added.

Although the song titles have been released, the album’s future seemed to be still on hold given the situation Payne’s family has been through. It’s probably on their call now whether the album will ever see the daylight.
